Terms of use
Last updated 23 October 2026
1. These terms
These terms apply to stupidmoney.io and every page, feature and data feed on it (the “Site”). “We”, “us” and “our” mean the operator of the Site. By using the Site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
2. Not financial advice
The Site is for information and entertainment only. Nothing on it is financial, investment, trading, legal or tax advice, a recommendation, or an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any asset. We are not a broker, dealer, exchange, investment adviser or financial institution, and we are not authorised or regulated by any financial authority. No adviser or fiduciary relationship arises from your use of the Site.
Labels such as “Tomorrow”, a direction, a “% chance”, “24h call”, “follow” or “counter” are simulated, automated estimates. They come with no guarantee or promise of any outcome, and you should not rely on them. Past results do not indicate future results.
3. Trading risk
Trading crypto assets and perpetual futures is highly risky. Prices are volatile, leverage magnifies losses, and you can lose all of the money you trade with, quickly. Only trade with money you can afford to lose. You alone decide whether and how to trade, and you alone are responsible for the results. Consider getting independent professional advice first.
4. Where the data comes from
The Site shows information derived from publicly available blockchain and market data, mainly from Hyperliquid’s public interfaces, and from third-party sources such as hypurrscan.io (TWAP orders) and alternative.me (the Fear & Greed index). We process that data automatically. It may be delayed, incomplete, out of date or wrong, and our calculations may contain errors. We do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness or timeliness. Always check information independently before acting on it.
5. Wallets and labels
Wallet addresses and trading activity on Hyperliquid are public. The Site shows addresses shortened, or by the display name the trader chose on Hyperliquid. We do not try to identify the people behind addresses, and we hold no information about who they are.
Groups such as “Genius”, “Smart”, “Stupid” and “Retard” money are humorous labels assigned automatically by fixed rules applied only to an address’s publicly reported profit and loss. They are a light-hearted way to sort trading results, not statements of fact or opinion about any person’s intelligence, character or abilities.
If you control an address shown on the Site and want it removed, email legal@stupidmoney.io from a way that shows you control it (for example, by signing a message with the address). We will consider every request in good faith.
6. Acceptable use
You may use the Site for your own personal, non-commercial information. You must not:
- attack, overload, disrupt or try to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its servers or its data, including denial-of-service attacks;
- get around rate limits, security measures or access controls;
- scrape, copy or harvest the Site or its data with automated tools at a volume beyond normal browsing, or resell or republish it as your own service, without our written permission;
- use the Site for anything unlawful, fraudulent or harmful, or to harass anyone;
- misrepresent your affiliation with us, or present the Site’s content as advice from us.
We may block, limit or end anyone’s access at any time, without notice, including for any breach of these terms.
7. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend or stop all or part of the Site at any time, without notice and without liability. We do not promise that the Site will be available, uninterrupted, secure or free of errors or harmful code.
8. No warranties
The Site and everything on it are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability or non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage of any kind arising from or connected with the Site, its data or these terms. This includes trading or investment losses, lost profits, lost data, and any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, however caused, even if we were told they were possible. You use the Site free of charge, and where any liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to one hundred US dollars (US$100).
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. If you are a consumer, you may have rights under the law where you live that these terms cannot take away.
10. Your responsibility to us
To the extent the law allows, you agree to indemnify us against any claims, losses, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the Site, or decisions you make based on it.
11. Other services and links
The Site relies on, and may link to, services we do not control, including Hyperliquid, Vercel (hosting) and the data sources above. We are not responsible for them, their content or their availability. Your use of them is governed by their own terms.
12. Where the Site may be used
The Site is not directed at anyone in a place where accessing it, or the activity it describes, would be unlawful. You are responsible for following the laws that apply to you, including any restrictions on trading crypto assets or derivatives where you live.
13. Ownership
The Site’s design, text, code, logo, name and the way its data is selected, calculated and arranged belong to us or our licensors. Public blockchain data itself belongs to no one. Coin names and logos belong to their respective owners and are shown only to identify each coin.
14. Privacy
The Site has no accounts and does not ask for your name, email or wallet.
- Analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits: pages viewed, the referring site, approximate country, device and browser type, and which coin cards are opened. It uses no cookies, and it identifies visitors only through an anonymised value that cannot be used to identify you and resets daily.
- Security logs. Like any website, our hosting provider (Vercel) processes your IP address and request details to deliver the Site, prevent abuse and enforce rate limits. They are kept only as long as needed for those purposes.
- Live prices. To show live prices, your browser connects directly to Hyperliquid’s public price feed, so Hyperliquid receives your IP address under its own privacy policy.
- No sale. We do not sell or share personal data for advertising.
We process this information for our legitimate interests in running, securing and improving the Site. You may ask about, or object to, this processing by emailing legal@stupidmoney.io.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms at any time by posting a new version on this page with a new “last updated” date. Your continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the new terms.
16. General
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect, and that part applies to the fullest extent allowed. If we do not enforce a right, we have not waived it. These terms are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site. We may transfer our rights and obligations under them. You may not transfer yours without our written consent.
17. Contact
